Storm Threat Shifts South Today

A stalled weather front which has brought showers and thunderstorms to much of of Central and Southern Indiana the past several days is slowing shifting south. But it will still be close enough to parts of Southern and Southeastern Indiana and Southwestern Ohio that a few showers and thunderstorms could develop this afternoon.

The Storm Prediction Center does have those areas in a marginal risk for a few strong or severe thunderstorms. The main threats would be hail, gusty winds and very heavy rainfall. We will be monitoring the radar throughout the day and will have updates as necessary.
