SnowCast For Friday Night & Saturday

Here’s our first edition SnowCast map powered by Guardian Angel Hospice, Inc. for Friday Night and Saturday.

Snow will develop late Friday Night and through the day on Saturday. We are forecasting 1-2″ of for much of Northern Indiana, 2-4″ of snow from Lafayette to Muncie down towards Dayton, 4-6″ of snow for much of Central and South Central along and South of I-70 and 2-4″ of snow for extreme Southern Indiana along the Ohio River.

We expect winter driving conditions across the area on Saturday as snow falls and sticks to roadways. Winter Weather Advisories and possible Winter Storm Warnings will likely be issued for much of Central and Southern Indiana and Western and Southwestern Ohio.

And while we don’t think this will be a “major” winter storm, it will be the first round of accumulating snow for much of the area in weeks (for some the whole winter). So we anticipate hazardous driving conditions to develop across much of the area.

We will have additional updates this evening so be sure to check back.
