The big story this morning is Hurricane Irma making landfall along the west coast of Florida. Over the next several days, Irma will weaken and move into Alabama and Georgia and eventually into the Lower Ohio Valley by the middle to end of the week.
The remnants of Irma will bring a chance of gusty winds and heavy showers to parts of Central and Southern Indiana later this week with the best chance for heavy rain across Southern Indiana.
We will be tracking Irma throughout the day today and all week so be sure to stay tuned to IndianaWeatherOnline.
