SnowCast For Tonight & Wednesday Morning

It’s a tricky forecast tonight and early Wednesday Morning with two areas of snow impacting Indiana. Unfortunately for snow lovers in Central Indiana – it looks like you’ll miss out on snow with the accumulating snow occurring North and South of you (Central Indiana could see a dusting to an inch).

One area of snow is likely tonight across Northern Indiana with 1-2″ of snow and isolated locallyhigher amounts.

Another stronger system moving up through Kentucky will bring an area of accumulating snow and freezing rain to parts of Southern and South Central Indiana into parts of Eastern and Southeastern Indiana and Western and Southwestern Ohio.

One to two tenths of an inch of ice accumulation is possible along the Ohio River from Evansville to Louisville to Cincinnati and roadways could become extremely hazardous tonight and early Wednesday Morning. Otherwise 1-2″ of snow is expected across South Central and Southern Indiana with a band of slightly higher snowfall totals across parts of Southeastern and Eastern Indiana into Western and Southwestern Ohio where 2-4″ of snow could accumulate.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for Southern and South Central Indiana along with Southeastern Indiana and Southwestern Ohio.

Another weather system could bring more snow and a wintry mix to parts of the area Friday and Saturday. More on that storm tomorrow (one storm at a time folks as the pattern is definitely a bit murky with all of these disturbances moving through).
